Privalytics exists because measurement should not require surveillance. This page says exactly what we store about your visitors, and what we never do.

What we store

Aggregate counters, and nothing else: pageviews per site, per hour, broken down by city, country, normalized page path and referrer host. One database row per site and hour — never a row per visit.

What we never store

• No cookies, no local storage, nothing written to the visitor's device.
• No IP addresses. The IP is used once, on our server, to find the city — against a local database, never a third-party service — and discarded in the same request.
• No user agents, no fingerprints, no visitor identifiers, no timelines, no session replay.
• No query strings — ?utm_… and friends die at the door; we keep the path only.

Why there is no consent banner

Consent requirements attach to identifiers and to storage on the visitor's device. Privalytics uses neither: the aggregate counts are anonymous and cannot re-identify a person. The lawful basis for the transient IP lookup is legitimate interest.

For site owners

Your account holds your email, your sites' domains and your prepaid balance — what a paid service needs to work, and nothing more. Closing the account stops the meter first, then closes the register.
